:: Directions to Niagara Falls ::

Niagara Falls is a preffered family vacation destination and receives millions of visitors every year from United States, Canada and other parts of the world.

From within Canada, Niagara falls is approachable via Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), which starts from Toronto and ends at Peace Bridge moving along the west side of Lake Ontario to Niagara Falls.

Coming from the east, the traffic from USA crosses the border into to Canada mainly through the four toll bridges:

  • Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, (north of the Falls)
  • Whirlpool Bridge, (north of the Falls)
  • Rainbow Bridge, (accross the street from Casino Niagara and close to the Clifton Hill and Falls Avenue Area)
  • Peace Bridge, between Buffalo, NY and Fort Erie, Ontario (south of Niagara Falls).
Rainbow Bridge is usually busy than the others because of traffic to Casino Niagara, ON & Seneca Niagara Casino, NY.

Canada & Midwest USA
 
From North East USA
  • Follow Queen Elizabeth Highway (QEW) Niagara
  • Q.E.W. splits into Hwy 420 and Q.E.W. Fort Erie
  • Follow the Q.E.W. Fort Erie
  • Take the Lundy's Lane exit
  • Turn right on the fork to Montrose Road
  • Turn left on to Montrose Road
  • The second traffic light is Lundy's Lane
Please note that the main tourist street in Niagara Falls is Lundy's Lane, which is also know as Hwy 20 on its west end and changes to Ferry Street and the to Victoria Avenue toward the east, moving closer to the Falls and other attractions.
 
  • Follow U.S. Interstate 90 West towards Buffalo
  • Follow exit #53 (to U.S. 190 North)
  • Follow the Sign - "Bridge to Canada"
  • Take exit #9 to the Peace Bridge
  • Cross the Peace Bridge into Canada
  • Once in Canada, take Hwy Q.E.W. Toronto/Niagara
  • Once in Niagara Falls, take the McLeod Rd exit
  • Turn right onto McLeod Rd
  • Turn left at Dorchester Road
  • Second traffic light is Lundy's Lane

Fallsview District & Clifton Hill Area -consisting of Casino, high rise hotels
offering rooms with a view of the falls

Reaching Fallsview District & Clifton Hill Area from
Canada & Midwest USA
 
From North East USA
  • Follow Queen Elizabeth Highway (QEW) Niagara
  • Q.E.W. splits into Hwy 420 and Q.E.W. Fort Erie
  • From the Q.E.W. Niagara follow Hwy 420
  • Turn right onto Stanley Avenue
  • The first set of traffic lights is Ferry Street
  • Make a left onto Ferry St. for Falls View Dist. or Go straight for Marine Land
Please note that all the properties in Falls View District are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the Niagara Falls, Casino Niagara, Clifton Hill and other attractions. Some hotels offer rooms with a spectaculars view to the Falls.
